Il Cuore di una Dea chiamata Europa

Prima che tutto avesse forma la Dea viveva nel nulla. Essa cominciò a rattristarsi vedendo questa desolazione e iniziò a pensare ad un progetto di amore. La Dea fece vari tentativi per creare un posto adatto per il suo progetto sul piano fisico. Come primo tentativo la Dea prese una ciocca della sua chioma dorata ma essa irradiava troppa energia per essere un pianeta e divenne una stella: il Sole. La Dea continuò a fare tentativi finchè non capì che l'unico modo per creare un pianeta adatto ad ospitare il suo amore fosse di utilizzare l'origine stessa del suo amore: il suo cuore.

La Dea concentrò tutta la sua volontà sul suo cuore dal quale nacque uno splendido pianeta verde con pianure, deserti e vette innevate. Alla vista del pianeta la Dea si commosse e le sue dolci lacrime riempirono deserti e pianure creando mari ed oceani. Questo pianeta, adesso divenuto azzurro, era la Terra.  Adesso il piano ha inizio. La Dea cominciò ad irradiare il pianeta con otto raggi. Ognuno di questi raggi portò sulla Terra un valore che la Dea riteneva fondamentale: Pace, Libertà, Tolleranza, Solidarietà, Democrazia, Uguaglianza, Dignità e diritti umani e Rispetto delle leggi

Purtroppo non tutti i paesi furono irradiati da tutti i raggi. L'unico posto dove ogni raggio fu assorbito pienamente era un piccolo pezzo della Terra. La Dea, vedendo questo pezzo di terra si sentì soddisfatta e risoluta a tal punto che decise di sdoppiarsi e di andare a vivere sulla Terra per gustare pienamente la sua creazione.

La Dea visse in quel pezzo di terra molto a lungo assaporandone ogni sfumatura e ne fu entusiasta a tal punto che decise di chiamare quel piccolo pezzo di terra con il suo vero nome: EUROPA.

The Heart of a Goddess named Europe

Before all had its shape, the Goddess lived in absolute void. She started to let herself down by seeing this sorrow and she started to think about a project of love. The Goddess made many an attempt in order to create a proper place for her project. At the first attempt, the Goddess took one of her golden locks, but it was so dazzling to be a planet. Therefore, the lock became a star: the Sun.

The Goddess kept on making attempts until she understood  that the only way to create a planet suitable to give shelter to her love was to use the same origin of her love: her heart.

The Goddess centred all her will on her heart, from whom a  marvellous green planet originated,  characterized by plains, deserts and mountains coated with snow. At first sight, the Goddess started to cry and her sweet tears filled deserts and plains,  creating seas and oceans. This planet, now become blue, was the Earth.

Now the actual plan began. The Goddess started to radiate the planet with eight rays of powerful light. Each of these rays brought a value that the Goddess believed as essential: Peace, Freedom, Tolerance, Solidarity, Democracy, Equality, Human Dignity and Rights and Rule of law.

Regrettably not all the lands were radiated by all the rays. The only place where every ray was entirely assimilated was a little piece of the Earth. The Goddess, looking at this piece of land, suddenly felt satisfied and resolute, so much that she decided to double herself and to go and live on the Earth to have full perception of her creation. The Goddess lived so long on that piece of wonderful land, in contact with all its nuances and she was so enthusiastic of it that she decided to name that small piece of land with her own name: EUROPE.
